First things first...

I have been knitting and crocheting little baby hats for a darling tiny grand niece this last week.  Her mama doesn't care for baby pastels and it has been impossible for her to find hats for the wee one.  So, of course, I told her I could make her some... =-)  It was a lot of fun.  I even ended up loving the little black cloche...Black?  For a baby? My first instinct was, "Oh, no, not black for a baby," but it turned out really cute and the sweetie pie looks like a little Amish baby in it.  I made 3 hats altogether, a fuchsia roll brim cloche, a purple beanie, and the black crocheted cloche.  Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of the fuchsia one when I finished it last week and gave it to her, but I remembered at the last minute before I walked out the door with the other two to snap pics of the purple and the black.  Sorry, no pics of the baby, but let me tell you, the black cloche was a HUGE hit and she was aDORable in it!  Mama says her friends are all gonna want one like the black one and that I "could make a lot of money"...haha!  I don't think I'll go into the baby hat business but it sure was fun =-)

Next up:  Fabric bins??  On my counter?? Stay tuned...but don't get too excited...=-)
