We can only hope... Of course they put that little cloud icon up if there is even a 10% chance of rain... but at least it's a whisper of hope. I will say this: it is cloudy out right now and only 80 degrees, which it has been since at least 6:15 am when I got up this morning. I love Rian's new name for our state: Hotfornia...that it is, all right...

It was 113° in LA yesterday--a new record. And still hotter on the central coast than here. It ONLY got up to ~95 here, and it is completely clouded over today. Very weird. Only a handful of people on the central coast have AC. They must be suffering.
We have finally had a cold front push through reducing our temps to the 80's. It feels marvelous, and our temperatures were only around the 100 mark, not nearly as hot as yours!
