Went for breakfast and a walk around an urban neighborhood the other day after DD's dentist appointment.  We went nuts for all the flowers that are out right now...especially the wisteria...gosh, I love wisteria...

We walked by one of my favorite houses... it's pink.  Well, now it's being fixed up and probably won't be pink when they are done.  I pretend it is being fixed up for me.  It is going to be beautiful.  I would LOVE to live in this 1886 house.  They are few and far between around here, I can tell you that.  So, if the lavender house doesn't work out, maybe you can find me in this pink (or whatever color it's gonna be) one...

Oh that wisteria is wonderful! Flowers are going gangbusters here right now (pictures soon) and there are some jacaranda trees down the street that aren't in bloom yet....soon. I remember those super-rainy winters in San Diego County, the wildfowers would knock yer socks off. I think it's gonna be a banner year.

Me too! We have wisteria all over the verandah. Although I can be heard to mutter very loudly when those pretty lavender petals drop all over the car! x

The wisteria is devine. So is the pink house. Let's hope they stay adventurous with the colour in their renovations.

I also love the Mother Map in an earlier post. Thank you for sharing it.
